TSNLA and ETF Continuing Professional Development Bursary Scheme 2017
The TSNLA 'CPD Needs in the Third Sector' report identified that on the whole small VCSE providers are not able to access CPD opportunities - very often either not knowing what is available, or simply not being able to fund it. With support from the Education and Training Foundation, the TSNLA is again operating a CPD bursary scheme to enable staff in the Third Sector to access appropriate CPD opportunities.
If you or your staff need to go on a course but don't have the funds to pay for it or don't have the travel costs then this scheme is for you. The funding pot is limited so we will be keeping the application process as simple as possible.
What can be funded?
Travel costs may be funded for courses which are delivered by or funded by the Education and Training Foundation only - no others can be supported through this scheme.
If you attend or participate in a paid-for course provided by the Foundation, you can apply for both delegates costs and travel. The amount claimed will be the actual cost paid up to £250.
What courses are available?
Have a look at what is available from the Education and Training Foundation programme: https://booking.etfoundation.co.uk/course/browse

How much is on offer?
Up to a total of £250 per individual is available. Normally up to 2 participants from one organisation may apply.
What do you need to do?
To help with your application, please also look at the Guidance Notes.
To be eligible participants will need to provide receipts and following on from the CPD complete a brief TSNLA online evaluation questionnaire.
Membership of TSNLA
It is not a requirement for the bursary that a participant's organisations are TSNLA members, although it would be helpful if provider organisations do at least join as free subscriber members.
